Tax Professional – Franchise Location

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will build strong client relationships and contribute to business growth.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
• Prepare complete and accurate individual, trust, partnership, and other complex tax returns.
• Provide clients with IRS support and offer additional products and services.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and mentor and support teammates.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Experience completing complex individual, trust, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all IRS and state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required if no degree).
