Hospice & Acute Care Chaplain PRN – Trinity Health At Home
St. Mary Home Care & Hospice in the Athens, GA area is seeking a Contingent Hospice & Acute Care Chaplain – PRN to provide compassionate spiritual care to patients, families, and colleagues in their homes and community settings. This part‑time, PRN position supports our mission to deliver patient‑centered, faith‑based care alongside a dedicated healthcare team.

Employment Type: Part‑time, PRN (Contingent)
• Location: Athens, GA (Home Care and Hospice settings)
• Shift: Variable, as needed in the home care and hospice team.
- Demonstrates Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in all actions and decisions.
- Delivers transformative spiritual care experiences to patients, residents, participants, visitors, and colleagues across the continuum of care.
- Assesses religious and spiritual needs, includes ethics consultation when appropriate, and provides interventions or referrals based on those needs.
- Observes care outcomes and adjusts the spiritual care approach as needed.
- Master's degree in Theology, Religion, Spiritual Care or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in spiritual care, including CP E training; hospice field experience preferred.
- Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) preferred (APC, CASC, NACC, NAJC) with required master’s degree and ACPE accredited education.
