The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, HVAC, basic carpentry, food & beverage equipment, fueling equipment and other site and building systems.

• Performs general maintenance and repairs that do not require a specialized technician – examples may include HVAC filter changes, light bulb replacement, beverage equipment and product line repairs, fuel nozzle/hose/filter replacement, replacing ceiling tiles, drywall repairs, painting and other building fixtures.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems.
• Fabricates and repairs shelving, fencing, trim and other wooden structures.
• Inspects, tests and repairs c-store equipment which includes determining and resolving the cause of malfunction.
• Provides troubleshooting of equipment by inspecting and diagnosing possible causes using equipment manuals as needed.
• Dismantles equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts when required.
• Starts equipment to test their performance.
• Performs all repairs safely, effectively and efficiently.
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
• Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Contacts Field Maintenance Manager when problems require outside contractor assistance.
• Utilizes technology solutions to update work order status, parts used, etc.
• Is on-call after hours and weekends for emergency maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Able to work in warm or cool environments – warehouse, coolers and outdoors.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Able to drive a forklift, preferred but not required.
• Able to drive a company vehicle.
