General Summary

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for dispatching transportation trucks and processing all necessary paperwork associated with transportation dispatch while working in alignment with Graniterock's Strategic Priorities and business objectives.

Job Accountabilities

Comply, understand, and promote safety initiatives to ensure "Safety Before All Else."

Schedule and dispatch company owned trucks as well as outside and sub haulers timely and within customers' expectations.

Utilize XBE to track and monitor truck routes to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Process sales order information, utilizing APEX, to generate pricing information and provide timely quotes to customers.

Work with Inside Sales team to verify all trucking paperwork including truck tags, are thoroughly completed and accurate to ensure timely processing of invoices.

Investigate and process all Product Service Discrepancies (PSD).

Partner with dispatch team to generate freight rates, determine truck types used and calculate round trip times for efficient deliveries.

Education and Work Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree in business or related field desired
Some related driving/construction/dispatch experience.
2-3 years logistics, dispatch or construction transportation experience preferred.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Knowledge of aggregate products
Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
