SummaryThe SAM Commercial Process and Systems Lead will play a critical role in fostering innovation and improving efficiency within our Commercial (Sales and Business Development) and Research & Development/Innovation teams. Reporting to the VP of IT - Americas, this position involves analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities to leverage technology—primarily Microsoft Dynamics CRM and PLM systems—and leading or collaborating on the delivery of tailored technology solutions.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong communication, analytical, and project management capabilities, experienced in bridging business needs with effective technological implementations in the food and ingredient manufacturing industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Food Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience supporting Commercial and R&D teams within food and ingredient manufacturing
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM configuration and customization
- Significant experience with PLM systems relevant to food and ingredient sectors
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirements gathering skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience managing small to medium-sized technology projects
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Knowledge of project methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall is advantageous
- Act as the primary business partner for Sales, Business Development, and R&D teams to understand their strategic goals and system needs
- Proactively identify process inefficiencies and recommend technology-driven improvements
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for CRM and PLM initiatives
- Advise on CRM best practices and optimize its configurations to meet business demands
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors to design and implement effective technology solutions
- Support and lead project activities, including planning, tracking, and delivery of initiatives
- Develop and conduct user training on CRM and PLM systems
- Participate in testing, validation, and user acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices regarding CRM, PLM, and food manufacturing technologies
