Position: Experienced Machinist in Lathe and Mill

We are seeking an experienced machinist with expertise in both lathe and mill operations for a top client of ours. Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate lathe and mill machines to produce high-precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances are met
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop efficient and effective machining processes
• Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure they meet specifications
• Keep accurate records of production and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist, with expertise in both lathe and mill operations
• Strong knowledge of machine tools, cutting tools, and measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience with CNC programming and operating is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is preferred
