Site Engineer - Civil & Energy Projects

Our client is seeking a diligent and hands-on Site Engineer to oversee the execution of civil and energy projects within the Paarl vicinity. You will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management on-site.

You will play a key role in the successful delivery of infrastructure critical to the region's development and energy needs.

• Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities for civil and energy infrastructure projects .
• Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
• Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols on site.
• Conduct quality control checks and report on progress, issues, and required adjustments.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and project management teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in site engineering, with exposure to energy projects being advantageous.
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
