BIM Coordinator

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced BIM Coordinator to join their team, offering a hybrid work arrangement based in Paarl . You will play a critical role in managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across various architectural and construction projects. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to BIM standards, facilitating model integration, and resolving clashes to optimize project delivery.

This role requires strong technical proficiency in BIM software and excellent coordination skills, essential for fostering collaboration within a hybrid team structure. You will be instrumental in enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of project documentation.

• Implement and manage BIM execution plans for assigned projects.
• Coordinate and integrate architectural, structural, and MEP models using clash detection software.
• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards and protocols.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on BIM workflows and software.
• Develop and maintain the project model database and documentation.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and resolve model-related issues.

• Diploma or Degree in a relevant field (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination or BIM management.
• Expert proficiency in Revit , Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software.
• Strong understanding of clash detection and model federation techniques.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, adaptable to a hybrid work setting.
