Senior Facilities Engineer

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Senior Facilities Engineer to join their project management team in Paarl . This role is critical for the successful design, construction, and maintenance of onshore and offshore facilities in the Oil & Gas industry . You will manage engineering activities, ensure projects meet technical specifications, safety standards, and budgetary constraints. • Oversee the design, procurement, and installation of oil and gas processing facilities.
• Ensure all facility designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage engineering contractors and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct technical reviews and HAZOP studies for new and existing facilities.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure facility reliability and uptime.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for operational issues related to facilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in facilities engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proven experience in project management, including cost estimation and scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of process design, equipment selection, and safety systems for oil and gas facilities.
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., API, ASME).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
