Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their growing investment team in Paarl . This role involves rigorous financial modeling, market research, and due diligence to identify and evaluate potential real estate investment opportunities across various asset classes. You will play a critical role in supporting investment decisions, portfolio management, and strategy development. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance-savvy professional to contribute to high-value transactions within the dynamic Western Cape property investment market, working in a collaborative and data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling for potential real estate investments, including DCF, IRR, and ROI calculations.
- Perform comprehensive market research to identify investment trends, opportunities, and risks in target markets, including Paarl.
- Assist in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, reviewing financial statements, legal documents, and property data.
- Prepare detailed investment memorandums and presentations for the investment committee.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of existing investments within the portfolio.
- Stay current with economic conditions, capital markets, and industry news relevant to real estate investment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field.
- 2-4 years of experience in real estate investment analysis , finance, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling skills using Excel are essential.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in real estate databases and market research tools.
- Familiarity with the Western Cape property market dynamics is advantageous.
