Service Advisor

Stivers Ford is looking for an experienced, driven Commercial Service Advisor to join our Ford Pro Elite Commercial Service Center in Waukee, Iowa.

Our Pro Elite facility is built specifically to support commercial and fleet customers. We service everything from light-duty pickups and vans to Class 1-7 commercial vehicles, RVs/motorhomes, EVs, and large fleet accounts.

We are looking for an advisor who can build strong customer relationships, communicate effectively, manage a high-volume workload, and keep repair orders moving from write-up through completion.

• Write and manage repair orders for commercial and fleet customers
• Communicate repair status, estimates, recommendations, and completion times with customers
• Work closely with technicians, dispatch/production management, parts, and service management
• Review technician inspections and present recommended repairs to customers
• Obtain customer and fleet-management-company approvals
• Maintain consistent follow-up on open repair orders
• Manage multiple vehicles and customers while maintaining excellent communication
• Build long-term relationships with commercial and fleet accounts
• Ensure repair orders are accurate and properly documented before closing
• Help maximize shop productivity while delivering an excellent customer experience

• Automotive or commercial service advising experience preferred
• Ford dealership experience is a plus
• Fleet and commercial vehicle experience is a major plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload
• Comfortable presenting and selling recommended repairs
• Strong follow-through and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with technicians and management
• Customer-focused attitude with a sense of urgency

You'll be working in a facility designed around commercial service rather than trying to fit commercial customers into a traditional retail-service operation.

Competitive salary plus performance-based commission.

Our compensation structure rewards advisors for producing gross profit and growing their business. Experienced, high-performing service advisors have significant earning potential within our commercial operation.

Expected earnings: $90,000-$140,000+ annually, depending on experience and performance.
