Description of the role:
We are currently looking for an Automotive Sales Associate to join our team at Shottenkirk Chevrolet Waukee. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the perfect vehicle to suit their needs and making their car buying experience seamless and enjoyable.
Responsibilities:- Assist customers in selecting and test driving vehicles
- Negotiate pricing and finalize sales transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and financing options
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license
Competitive compensation ranging from $60,000.00 to $ per year, based on performance and sales. Health insurance, 401(k) contribution, and employee discounts on vehicles are also included.

The Automotive Sales Associate/ Product Specialist is responsible for answering questions about the products and services the dealership offers with the purpose of making customers feel welcome and supported through the car-purchasing process.
Responsibilities:- Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the car dealership
- Assist customers in making a purchase decision by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and needs
- Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
- Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers
- Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses
- Enthusiasm and high energy throughout the sales workday
- Friendly, competitive personality, especially when handling objections & negotiating pricing
- Strong customer service, communication skills, computer and basic math skills
- Interest in training additional sales associates once you get up to speed and working in a team environment
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
