Warehouse Receiver and Dispatch Clerk

Our client, a growing presence in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a diligent and organized Warehouse Receiver and Dispatch Clerk to join their team in Paarl, Western Cape . This role is fundamental to the accurate and efficient flow of goods into and out of the warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality, and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch.

This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a physically active warehouse environment. As a key member of the operations team, you will ensure that all goods are processed accurately and efficiently, contributing directly to the smooth running of the supply chain. • Receive incoming goods, verify against purchase orders or shipping manifests, and inspect for damage.
• Accurately record all incoming inventory into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Organize and stage received goods for put-away or direct use.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately.
• Verify outgoing shipments against dispatch orders.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving and dispatch area.
• Adhere to all company health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status and discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse receiving or dispatch role is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with WMS or inventory management software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting moderate weights, and working in a warehouse setting.
• Basic computer literacy and numeracy skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to work on-site in Paarl, Western Cape .
