JEM Treatment, Inc is looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist for our out-patient Methadone Program in Waukegan, IL. where your communication skills and positive attitude will make a real impact every single day. Our hours are Monday through Friday from 5:15am to 1:15pm and Saturdays from 5:45am to 10:45am. We are closed on Sundays.

• Greet and welcome patients, and visitors in a warm and professional manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries to the appropriate staff
• Schedule and confirm appointments, managing the front desk calendar efficiently
• Maintain accurate patient records and data entry using office management software
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and general correspondence
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
• Assist all staff with clerical support as needed
• Urine testing for in-house and send-out specimens
• Collect payments and assist with insurance verification
• Other responsibilities as needed

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Prior receptionist/ front desk preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in computer skills and general office equipment
• Highly organized with strong multitasking and time management abilities
• Professional, empathetic, and customer-service-oriented demeanor
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Must possess a valid drives license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screening test as required by law
• Punctuality is a must
• Working every second Saturday is required
