Pay Range: $125,000 to $140,000

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Strategy Development
  • Work with business team and senior management to drive development of the high-growth product portfolio strategies.
  • Envision, document, and execute short and long-term innovation roadmaps for the Luxor family of brands.
  • Continuously evaluate industry trends, end-user insights, consumer feedback, technical advancements, and competitive analysis.
  • Analyze, track, and report on product sales and trends against budgeted/forecast plans; alert team to trends and recommend actions.
  • Execute competitive marketplace benchmarking and analysis for key product categories.
  • Employ design thinking tools and processes; develop consumer/product segmentations and personas.
  • Generate innovative ideas and categories aligned to company goals, brand vision, and strategy.
  • Research product opportunities across marketplaces to find improvements or new products.
  • Partner with stakeholders to determine goals, focus, and priorities for the product roadmap.
  • New Products
  • Gather product requirements, prioritize feature implementations, and improve overall user experience.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to achieve the product vision; evaluate project health and scope.
  • Identify market needs to target new products, line extensions, and categories; identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Establish business cases with features, value proposition, financial metrics, go-to-market requirements, and timelines.
  • Work with Sales/Marketing on go-to-market strategy; define product positioning, benefits, and target consumer.
  • Lead environmental, regulatory, and trend considerations in development; track development schedule progress.
  • Lead presentations to senior leadership for decisions on next steps.
  • Portfolio & Lifecycle Management
  • Manage product lifecycle, pricing, and quality/compliance considerations; collaborate with Marketing on launches and IP opportunities/concerns.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience
  • Business or Marketing degree preferred; MBA a plus.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, and/or Marketing research with consumer products in B2B or B2C environments.
  • Skills & Abilities
  • Goal-oriented, proactive self-starter; strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to management and stakeholders.
  • Proven data analysis skills; comfortable with market research and consumer behavior insights.
  • Experience with New Product Development processes for durable goods/tech products; strong business acumen.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with ERP/CRM systems preferred.
  • Ability to travel 5-10% or as required.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities – Manage NPD team, including Industrial Design and Engineering.
  • Training – General employee training materials offered.

  • Work Environment – Usual office conditions; moderately noisy environment.
