Construction Field Compliance Associate

Large GC specializing in Affordable Multifamily Rehabs and Renovations, looking for Field Compliance Associates for a new project in Waukegan, IL.

• Oversee and regularly confirm that all required job site postings are visible and posted
• Ensure all GC employees and employees of all subcontractors are properly badged before being permitted access to the project site
• Ensure all GC employees and employees of all subcontractors individually sign in/out daily
• Conduct and document labor compliance interviews with subcontractor employees (scheduled and random) to verify accuracy of prevailing wage rate, classification, etc.
• Review subcontractor insurance and signed contract report to ensure only eligible subcontractors are on site.
• Complete weekly summaries of job site activity and compliance for review by the Director of Compliance
• Other related projects, as assigned

• Highly ethical with a proven track record of adherence to compliance standards
• Demonstrated computer proficiency-Experience with Elations software a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strict attention to detail
• Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
• Ability to process requests quickly and efficiently
• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated and self-starter
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Clean driving records and valid state Driver's License
• Ability to transport self to/from different job sites in the tri-state area
• Previous DOL experience a plus
• Deadline-driven

Compensation: $21/hour, Temporary
