New Patient Coordinator II (Waukegan) – Orthodontic Experts

Job DescriptionAs a New Patient Coordinator II (NPC II), you will be on the training path of an Orthodontic Assistant and will learn and master various orthodontic procedures under the supervision of the orthodontist. You will also act as a backup for the NPC role, taking records (pictures and x‑rays) used for creating a treatment plan for new patients.
Responsibilities- Learn and master orthodontic procedures (under supervision of the orthodontist).
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures such as adjusting braces and placing orthodontic appliances.
- Complete full‑arch bonding top and bottom, as well as bonding fixed retainers.
- Debonding and rebonding brackets.
- Use various digital scanners.
- Make clear retainers and deliver expanders, space maintainers, and Försüs® devices.
- Take clear x‑rays, clear photos, and accurate scans for retainers.
- Assist in sterilizing equipment.
- Maintain a clean working environment (including the picture & x‑ray area).
- Collaborate with the Treatment Coordinator to ensure patient case acceptance by orchestrating a warm hand‑off.
- Assist in meeting and/or exceeding monthly and annual clinic goals.
- Explain payment options and provide general information about insurance coverage related to orthodontics.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities when traveling to another clinic, including administrative tasks.
- Participate in marketing events.
- Complete annual compliance training.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer skills.
- Ability to travel and transport yourself to other practice locations.
- Monday – Wednesday 8:45 am – 5:00 pm
- Thursday & Friday 6:45 am – 3:00 pm
- Two Saturdays per month (9:45 am – 6:00 pm shifts)

- Travel availability to Mundelein.
- Hourly rate: $18.00.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
