• Must hold a valid Illinois Paraprofessional Educator License issued by ISBE

Ampersand Therapy empowers you to serve your students. We are a small company that began in Western Washington and has expanded to additional states including North Carolina, South Carolina, Colorado, Oregon, Arizona, Illinois and Minnesota. We are proud to be women owned, minority owned and therapist owned. We began our own careers working in school districts and also as contractors. We created Ampersand Therapy to offer an alternative to large staffing agencies.

The result is a small team of like minded specialists who are building the kind of company we would want to work for.

Because we are clinicians and special education providers ourselves, we genuinely understand and appreciate the work you do. We are also in a unique position to mentor and support those who are new to educational interpreting. We are so committed to students that you will often find us working in the schools ourselves.
