- Performs diagnostic Laboratory tests and procedures on body fluids and other specimens using both manual and automated methods of analysis.
- Reviews, assesses, and interprets test results.
- Accurately reports results along with relevant information pertaining to the prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of disease.
- Assesses all preanalytical, analytical, and post-analytical variables of the testing process to assure the accuracy of the results reported.
- Performs routine Laboratory testing.
- Obtains and prepares patient specimens.
- Performs diagnostic Laboratory tests and procedures on body fluids and other specimens using both manual and automated methods of analysis.
- Reviews, assesses, and interprets test results.
- Accurately reports results along with relevant information pertaining to the prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of disease.
- Assesses all preanalytical, analytical, and post-analytical variables of the testing process to assure the accuracy of the results reported.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Life Science, or equivalent
- Current registration or eligible for registration as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) or equivalent.
- Goo organization, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to evaluate test results and recognize abnormal or contradictory results.
- Ability to concentrate on fine detail with frequent interruptions.
