Emergency Room (ER) Technician

Vista Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room (ER) Technician to join our fast‑paced emergency department. As an ER Tech, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring a high standard of emergency medical services. • Assist nurses and physicians with patient care, including vital signs monitoring, wound care, splinting, and IV placement.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and other diagnostic tests as required.
• Transport patients safely within the hospital.
• Maintain a clean, well‑stocked, and organized ER environment.
• Support patient comfort, including repositioning, hygiene assistance, and emotional support.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an EMT‑B, EMT‑P, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Previous experience in an emergency or acute care setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in high‑stress situations.
