Job Summary

Vista Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room (ER) Technician to join our fast-paced emergency department. As an ER Tech, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring a high standard of emergency medical services. • Assist nurses and physicians with patient care, including vital signs monitoring, wound care, splinting, and IV placement.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and other diagnostic tests as required.
• Transport patients safely within the hospital.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized ER environment.
• Support patient comfort, including repositioning, hygiene assistance, and emotional support.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an EMT-B, EMT-P, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Previous experience in an emergency or acute care setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in high-stress situations.
