Job Summary

Vista Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our Medical/Surgical Department
. As a PCT, you will provide direct patient care and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to our patients. This role is ideal for compassionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment and are committed to patient well-being.

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Provide basic wound care and assist with medical procedures as directed.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety by responding to call lights and patient needs promptly.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized patient environment.
• Transport patients and specimens within the hospital as needed.
• Collaborate with nurses and healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Previous hospital or clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient service skills.
