Abbott is looking for an Application Architect with extensive expertise in Salesforce (Sales and Service Cloud), Revenue Management, Customer relationship management SaaS platforms, Integrations, Dev Ops technologies, and Cloud computing. This role is delivery-oriented and carries responsibility for the global implementation of the program. The position involves collaborating with both internal and external development and delivery teams to ensure that strategies are effectively communicated and executed across different programs and regions.

As an Application Architect
, you will play a critical role in the delivery of best-in-class consumer experiences, ensuring scalable, compliant, and performant solutions are delivered. The role spans architecture, technical solution and integration oversight, with a focus on automation and global enablement.

Architectural responsibilities include Sales and Service Cloud including social, mobile, web including integration hub experience. The role will require a strong leadership background with good communication skills while interacting with the business. The candidate will require experience in supporting all aspects of information technology, in addition to Continuous Process Improvement, Application Development and Solution Delivery, Regulated Industry Implementations and Compliance

• Demonstrate strong functional and architectural expertise in Salesforce, Revenue Management, SaaS platforms, and integrated web and mobile systems.
• Lead technical projects across multiple product teams to architect, design, build, and scale next-generation technology platforms.
• Establish and implement contemporary solution architectures that adapt to changing industry and market environments to support Abbott’s digital transformation.
• Translate business requirements into detailed systems, application, and integration designs for large, complex IT solutions.
• Collaborate with Business and IT leaders to address digital business needs, use cases, and requirements.
• Review and approve Architecture Design Documents, Software Design Documents (SDD), and Integration Design Documents.
• Conduct code reviews, resolve code conflicts from parallel development, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Evaluate and recommend scalable, secure, and compliant architectural solutions, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices, multi-org strategy, and Abbott’s enterprise architecture standards.
• Support impact analysis for new features, integrations, and platform upgrades.
• Serve as the technical expert by researching, evaluating, and implementing leading-edge technology platforms.
• Influence and establish best engineering practices through sound design decisions, processes, and tools.
