Vista Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical Unit
. The Med/Surg RN will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population with acute and chronic conditions. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, responding promptly to any changes.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with hospital policies.
• Serve as an advocate for patient needs and ensure a positive patient experience.

• Active RN license in the state of Illinois (or ability to obtain).
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Previous experience in a Med/Surg or acute care setting preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
