Patient Care Tech; Telemetry

Overview

Assist nurses and physicians in providing care to patients. Comply with organization, department and regulatory standards. Assist with collecting patient data, perform bedside diagnostic tests and procedures, implement plan of care, coordinate daily work assignments and documentation and perform all other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an IL approved CNA training program.
• Registered LPN in IL
• Have successfully completed a U.S. military training program that includes the content of a nurse aid training program. (i.e. hospital corpsman).
• Successfully completed a nursing program equivalent to a LPN or RN in a foreign country
• Successfully completed a nursing arts course (Basics in Nursing, Fundamentals of Nursing, Nursing 101, etc.) along with passing written competency test.
