The embedded Linux task is to develop a solution based upon the OpenSTLinux distribution, which is both Yocto and Buildroot compliant.

Our top pick would be someone who has experience with and is comfortable with the following major tasks:

• Setting up and maintaining a Linux PC.
• Setting up the necessary tools, such as:
  • The STM
    32MP
    1 Starter, Developer, and Distribution packages.
  • The real-time extension X-LINUX-RT OpenSTLinux Expansion package.
• Set up control of a ublox wireless module for communication via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
• The point of the selection of the ublox wireless module and the STM
  32MP
  1 series micro is for the relatively high bandwidth of the Wi‑Fi communications.
• Implement Ethernet communications in the STM
  32MP
  1 series micro.
• Merge/Port existing bare-metal code of a proven previous generation design as tasks as appropriate into the OpenSTLinux distribution.
• This will involve a measurable amount of collaboration with others at Tecnova, including myself.
