Bio Space is seeking a Flight Engineer who reports to the Director of Aviation Maintenance. The role involves flying on corporate aircraft, providing technical expertise during in‑flight and AOG situations, and ensuring passenger safety and cabin management.

Job DescriptionThe Flight Engineer will be responsible for technical support, maintenance, and cabin management while flying on corporate aircraft. The position requires strong knowledge of onboard communication systems and FAA regulations.
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspections, engine runs and taxi operations in compliance with company standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Remain available to work nights, weekends, or flexible hours as required by the flight schedule.
- Act as passenger service provider and safety coordinator, including training in evacuation procedures, medical aid, passenger service, and food handling procedures.
- Ensure cabin configuration and associated management functions are performed in accordance with Departmental policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of all onboard passenger service and cabin entertainment equipment.
- Oversee work performed by contract maintenance facilities and ensure proper documentation in compliance with FAA and company requirements.
- Participate actively in the Department Safety Management System (SMS).
- Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory, including ordering, shipping, and receiving.
- 2+ years of aviation maintenance/avionics experience.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in time‑sensitive situations.
- Thorough understanding of avionics/electrical/computer systems.
- Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business applications.
- Commitment to ongoing technical training and industry advancement.
Salary range: $82,500 - $157,500. This may vary based on location and experience.
