Senior Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team in a flexible, part-time position.

We're looking for someone who enjoys digging into the numbers, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and helping a business improve its financial processes and profitability.

• Perform month-end account reconciliations and review financial accuracy
• Analyze company spending and identify opportunities to reduce expenses
• Review vendor costs, recurring bills, and purchasing practices
• Evaluate job costing, including labor, materials, and profitability
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and accurate inventory valuation
• Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend improvements
• Assist with financial reporting and expense analysis
• Work directly with ownership to improve financial efficiencies

• Several years of hands-on accounting experience
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, job costing, and expense analysis
• Experience with inventory accounting preferred
• Proficiency in Quick Books and Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
• Manufacturing, construction, or job-based business accounting experience is a plus

• Approximately 10–15 hours per week to start
