Job DescriptionKey responsibilities include:
- Contacting assigned suppliers to determine when they will be compliant with the new UDI regulation
- Much of the work will involve contacting suppliers via phone and email; some suppliers are outside of the US
- Maintaining detailed information on the compliance status of each supplier
- Setting up meetings and following up regularly with suppliers to ensure they meet their commitments
- Escalating to others in the team if suppliers are not meeting their commitments
Desired Characteristics:
- Familiarity with other similar regulations, such as RoHS, REACh, Conflict Minerals etc.
- Detail oriented
- Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
- Experience implementing a compliant supply chain
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or related discipline – HIGHLY PREFERRED, or HS Diploma/GED plus 3 years work experience
- Computer proficiency, particularly with MS-Excel, Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage supplier relationships
