Job Title – Development Assistant
Purpose of JobThe purpose of this job is to assist staff members and provide clerical support for Advancement Services. Working in the Office of Institutional Advancement is an excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge and expertise in communication, fundraising,and public relations.
Duties and Responsibilities- General office duties
- Efficiently and accurately use Raiser's Edge to update contact information, etc.
- Scan and check documents
- Organize and file hardcopy and electronic versions of documents
- Assist staff members on projects
- Other duties as assigned
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail
- Actively seek answers to questions and problems
- Have respect for the quality of work being performed
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Must be able to work with confidential materials
- Must have computer skills (experience with Microsoft programs)
