Payne & Dolan, Inc., part of the Walbec Group, is a family‑focused, progressive company in heavy road and highway construction. We are looking for a Heavy Civil Foreman to assist with efficient personnel scheduling, crew management, grading equipment oversight, and continuous quality improvement.

We’re looking for a Heavy Civil Foreman responsible for assisting with any and all aspects of personnel scheduling, crew management, overseeing grading equipment needs and repair, and reinforcement of continuous quality improvement.

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• GPS Machine Control knowledge preferred.
• A CDL desired but not necessary.
• Capable of reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and have a high ethical standard.
• Must be self‑directed and motivated; able to manage multiple conflicting and changing priorities.
• Have the ability to be trusted with confidential information and observe anti‑trust laws and regulations.
• Have the ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.
• Member of the appropriate trade union or willingness to become a union member required.

Projects vary by location throughout the local area or state. Reliable transportation and/or a willingness to travel to any job site as needed is required.
