The Position

We're looking for a Solar Construction Manager responsible for:

• Operational Planning & Management
• Work in partnership with the Project Manager (mutually accountable).
• Lead the field team consisting of tradespeople, foremen, and subcontractors.
• Assist in resolving construction problems such as lack of productivity and work interfaces.
• Review plans and construction drawings.
• Order and schedule material deliveries.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors impacting ZTI's work.
• Create and maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with clients, subcontractors, co-workers, and management.
• Mentor foremen and project engineers for personal and company growth.
• Accountability to Foreman/Lead Foreman in safety, planning, personnel, materials, tools, equipment, and environment.
• Schedule management

• Risk management
• Cost, Productivity, and Quality Management
• Responsible for labor and equipment costs.
• Assist in job procurement, estimating, and pre-job planning.
• Ensure work quality meets company and client expectations.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor.

The Location

• Projects will vary throughout Wisconsin; willingness to travel to any job site is required as needed.
