Sr Supplier Quality Engineer role at Husco
. The position focuses on reviewing requirements in design, assembly, and manufacturing at the supplier to ensure long-term capability can be established and sustained. What You’ll Be Doing
  • New Product Development:
    Take a leading role in new program development activities through active involvement in Design and Process FMEA’s within Husco and throughout the potential supply base.
  • Develop best-in-class global supply base:
    Collaborate with leaders in Purchasing and Quality to identify and develop a best-in-class global supply base with emphasis on achieving zero PPM.
  • Execute and communicate production non-conformance reports (PCNR):
    Identify, understand, and communicate non-conformances, then complete root cause analysis to ensure the correct issues are addressed.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and mentor on Supplier Quality processes:
    Mentor and support the team’s daily activities and serve as a technical escalation point.
What You’ll Need
  • College degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering, or closely related discipline with Quality emphasis or equivalent education required.
  • Minimum of 5 years working in a component manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and related inspection practices.
  • Effective troubleshooting, problem solving, and organizational skills required.
  • Travel up to 50% domestic, 10% international. Must have valid driver’s license for inter-plant travel.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
