. The Technical Submittal Coordinator is responsible for document control overseeing the creation, review, and approval of project specific engineering submittals for industrial generators. This role ensures that all submittal packages meet project specifications, regulatory codes, and internal quality standards. The Submittal Coordinator serves as a key liaison between the sales team, customer, Engineer of Record, fabrication, and vendor teams to deliver accurate and timely documentation that supports successful project execution.

Major

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of project‑specific submittal packages, including drawings, BOMs, and compliance documentation specific to each project.
  • Review and approve submittals prepared by internal teams and third‑party vendors.
  • Track submittal status and maintain organized records.
  • Respond to customer feedback and coordinate revisions to ensure timely approval.
  • Attend customer meetings to support submittal discussions, rejections, and approvals.
  • Ensure all submittals comply with engineering specifications, local codes, and company installation standards and practices.
  • Coordinate with procurement and fabrication teams to align submittals with equipment orders.
  • Provide technical support to sales and project teams during pre‑sale and execution phases.
  • Collaborate with engineering to resolve technical issues and ensure design integrity.
  • Provide support through all phases of the project, including closeout, by ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
Minimum

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electrical Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years of experience in industrial power systems or generator applications.
  • Strong understanding of technical literature, document control, submittal processes, and project documentation standards.
Preferred

Job Requirements
  • Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software.
  • Knowledge of generator control systems and interconnection requirements.
