Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement control systems for automated machinery and industrial processes.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand requirements and develop control strategies to meet project objectives.
- Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and other control devices using industry-standard programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text).
- Conduct testing and commissioning of control systems, ensuring functionality, reliability, and safety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to control systems, both independently and in collaboration with other engineering teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives related to control systems and automation processes.
- Stay updated on advancements in control system technologies, industry standards, and best practices, and assess their applicability to existing projects.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as needed for the procurement and integration of control system components.
- Adhere to relevant regulatory standards and safety protocols in all aspects of control system design and implementation.

Qualifications- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Controls Engineering or similar.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms) and HMI development.
- Strong understanding of control system theory, including PID control, motion control, and feedback mechanisms.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.
- Hands-on experience with hardware/software integration and troubleshooting of control systems.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, which include presentation skills.
- Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as NEC, NFPA, ANSI, UL508A, etc., related to control system design and implementation.
- Ability to travel up to 25% Domestic US and Canada.
