The PositionOur client seeks to fill an Investment Advisor/Financial Planner role in Waukesha, WI. The successful candidate will advise on investment and insurance strategies and develop financial plans for clients.
This position offers a salary commensurate with experience and a full benefits package.
- Develop and maintain client relationships through business development and networking.
- Interpret planning documents such as tax returns, account statements, Social Security estimates, pension statements, annuity contracts, and life insurance policies.
- Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues by handling sales and service efficiently, identifying sales opportunities, and making referrals.
- Educate branch staff and internal partners to identify investment opportunities.
- Communicate regularly with internal and external partners to strengthen relationships and increase referrals.
- Promote investment education and visibility among branch staff.
- Participate in networking and community events to build contacts and relationships.

Skills and experience include:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred.
- At least three years of experience as a Financial Advisor or similar role.
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63, 65) licenses required;
Life and Health Insurance licenses required. - Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external clients.
- Ability to work with high concentration and manage multiple projects under deadlines.
