Director of Recruiting at Truity Partners | Relentlessly helping Midwest clients find great Accounting, Finance & HR talent | Nature = happy place |…Our rapidly growing financial services client near Pewaukee is seeking a Finance Specialist to join the team on a temp to hire basis immediately. This role supports day-to-day financial and transaction operations for client accounts, with a strong focus on accuracy, reconciliations, and cash movement. The ideal candidate comes from a banking or financial services environment and is comfortable working with high-volume transactions, controls, and time-sensitive processing.
Role is 100% on-site with hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Please apply for immediate consideration.
- Process daily financial transactions including cash postings, client activity, and account-level entries.
- Open certificates of deposits (CD's) and new accounts in network of banks.
- Manage the administrative and operational components including account opening, closing, and maintenance requests. Perform daily and monthly reconciliations (bank accounts, client accounts, book-to-cash).
- Monitor and research transaction discrepancies, resolving breaks in a timely manner.
- Support cash movement, payments, and settlement activities.
- Maintain strict adherence to internal controls, policies, and compliance standards.
- Other potential tasks as assigned.
- Prior experience in banking or financial services operations required with a focus on financial transactions.
- Strong understanding of wire transfers, ACH's, certificates of deposits and account management.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
