Hours:

This .8 FTE commits to 32 hours a week; 8 hour Night shifts with weekend and holiday rotation.

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides basic patient care working under the direction of the registered nurse per the ANA standards.

• Communicate changes in patient situations/conditions that would require notification to the RN. Performs efficient and effective patient bedside handoffs at shift change using SBAR communication methodologies to communicate patient care activities.
• Assists with patient activities as delegated by the RN including activities of daily living (i.e., dressing, ambulating, toileting, eating, grooming, oral care, and bathing).

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Certification (BLS CPR) required
• Active/expired Certified Nursing Assistant on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
• Prior experience as a C.N.A. is preferred
