Human Resource Generalist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for all human resource generalist functions and support the HR Manager with human resource administrative functions and recruiting efforts. New hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. FMLA, Workers Compensation and Short Term Disability. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.

• Maintain all hiring documents.
• Online training access for existing employees.
• Maintain accurate human resources files, records and documentation.
• Communicate with employees on policies and procedures, benefits, and hiring process.
• Maintain integrity and confidentiality.
• Perform personnel files and records to ensure compliance.
• Clerical support to the HR Management staff.
• Assist in planning and executing special events.
• Process STD/LTD applications for staff when needed.
• Assist with FMLA.
• Post and recruit for open positions.
• Interview and set up meetings.

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
• 3+ years' of experience working in Human Resources
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with HRIS and ATS systems.
• Knowledge with Federal and State Employment Laws.
• Successfully complete C.B.R.F. Certification offered in-house.
