Job Description SummaryThe Sourcing Analyst supports the Direct and Indirect IT & Digital Sourcing team by providing data‑driven insights and operational support that strengthen supplier performance, enable effective sourcing decisions, and drive cost optimization. The role is responsible for analyzing critical sourcing KPIs, monitoring market trends, supporting supplier transitions, and ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements. The Sourcing Analyst plays a key role in advancing GE Health Care’s sourcing strategy and improving overall supply chain outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities- Analyze and report on data to identify supplier trends and cost‑optimization opportunities
- Lead spend categorization efforts and correct taxonomy classifications
- Create Contract Renewal tracker to ensure timely contract renewals
- Monitor and assess supplier performance based on cost, quality, delivery, and compliance metrics in coordination with our KPIs
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide sourcing decisions
- Implement dashboard to track and monitor sourcing KPI’s
- Support supplier transitions, audits, and performance evaluations
- Monitor and report on category performance metrics and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality systems, and legal requirements
- Support global and regional sourcing initiatives and projects
- Provide support for Request for Proposals (RFPs)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or category management
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Experience working in a matrixed, global organization
- Expertise in Software Sourcing
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- Lean/Six Sigma certification or experience with process improvement methodologies
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
