About the Role
As we continue to grow and diversify, we’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Planner/Scheduler to join our team in Waukesha, WI. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing the master production schedule in line with manufacturing capacity and sales forecast to satisfy customer demand while effectively managing inventory levels. This role functions as a liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Shipping/Receiving and is responsible for the forecast entry, and production scheduling.

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management or a related technical field.
- 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with active interface to Materials Management, Production Control, Capacity Planning and Scheduling related functions.
- Prior master scheduling experience and working knowledge of supply chain process and procedures including planning, demand management and replenishment.
- Experience working with MRP/ERP systems, especially advanced planning systems (Epicor experience preferred).

- Develop, manage and maintain a master production plan that satisfies customer demand while leveling manufacturing workload and optimizing inventory on a cost and unit basis.
- Provide daily/weekly analysis and key performance metrics, identify gaps and constraints, and suggest alternative solutions.
- Manage Company’s S&OP Process by working with Operations, Procurement and Sales to develop opportunities and risks to the company’s overall financial plan.
- Conduct independent schedule risk assessments and mitigation planning and coordinate with Manufacturing, Sourcing and Shipping/Receiving to facilitate the resolution of resource constraints and other existing or potential schedule interruptions.
- Serve as the focal point with management for all communications associated with the master schedule, delivery performance, manufacturing capacity, and forecast accuracy.
- Lead the forecast planning process, tracking the opportunities pipeline and conducting capacity planning to effectively match future demand projections with manufacturing capability.
- Utilize historical sales, distributor forecasts, new product/business opportunities and backlog to derive an effective plan to achieve budgeted, on-time shipments while reducing lead-time to the customer.
- Communicate significant variations in product demand to Commercial Team.
- Participate in First Article meetings, stay current on new product introductions and coordinate implementation of engineering changes.

- Actively challenge existing processes to drive simplification and improvement.
- Support the organization by performing cross‑functional ad hoc assignments as requested.
