Foundry Lead - 2nd Shift at Metal Tek International
DescriptionWe have an immediate opportunity for an individual with strong leadership qualities and a good understanding of our foundry operations to assume a Lead position in the Petro‑Chem Foundry. The primary focus of this position will be to support the shift supervisor to safely meet scrap and production rates, through training and following procedures.
Responsibilities- Support shift supervisor to safely meet scrap and production rates.
- Train and mentor shift staff, ensuring procedures are followed.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, cross‑training, and flexibility efforts.
- Broad knowledge of foundry operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to direct people.
- Experience in training and problem solving.
- Hands‑on and capable of filling in as a melter or caster as needed.
