Description:

We are immediately hiring in Waukesha, WI for a safety-driven Material Handler to be responsible for utilizing a ten-ton overhead crane to load/unload steel plate from trucks, and to load and unload steel plate onto Laser and Kinetic tables. You’ll be working Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize a 10-ton overhead crane to load/unload steel plates from trucks
• Load and unload steel plates onto Laser and Kinetic tables
• Utilize a forklift to move pallets and parts
• Drive a yard truck and trailer to move plates between buildings
• Complete required paperwork with our ERP system
• Fast-paced and physical, climbing, bending, and reaching frequently
• Work safely at all times
• Consistently be available to come to work

Material Handler Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of material handling experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
• Basic computer skills
• Experience with using a tape measure and caliper
• Good math skills
