Job Position: CNC Machinist

Waukesha, WI 53189

Pay Rate:
Up to $40.00/hr + $2.00 Shift Differential BOE

Shift: 3rd shift, Sun-Thu, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Description:

We are immediately hiring in Waukesha, WI for an experienced milling and/or turning CNC machinist with the ability to set-up large scale parts and select tooling. Must be able to work independently. You’ll be working the third shift, Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m

CNC Machinist Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work order routings.
  • Properly loads and unloads material and fixturing into CNC machinery.
  • Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
  • Understands, interprets and edits G-code programming.
  • Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling.
  • Understands and has the ability to perform tool wear offsets.
  • Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery.
  • Ability to comply with all quality policies, specifications and instructions.
CNC Machinist Qualifications and Requirements
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a CNC machinist is required.
  • Must Have Tool & Die background
  • Experience with Fanuc & Heidenhain Controls preferred.
  • Experience with Boring Bar, Milling or Drilling of Structural Weldments required(steel, stainless & aluminum)
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required.
  • Heavy manufacturing preferred.
