Position Overview Are you passionate about technology, hands-on machining, and learning new skills? Join a growing manufacturing team as a
** CNC Operator
** where you’ll operate, set up, adjust, program, and troubleshoot CNC machines in a fast-paced production this role, you’ll help ensure machines operate efficiently, produce high-quality parts, and maintain production capacity while minimizing downtime. You’ll also collaborate with Engineering, support continuous improvement, and cross-train team members on CNC operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, work instructions, and business ethics requirements.
* Set up and operate CNC vertical machining centers and other equipment, including fixture changes and three-part runoffs.
* Machine components to print and ensure finished products meet customer specifications.
* Change inserts, replace tooling, and load feed mechanisms as needed.
* Troubleshoot CNC equipment and make program modifications to maintain production efficiency and quality.
* Monitor machine performance, tooling, and programming to minimize downtime and maintain consistent output.
* Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring instruments to inspect parts and verify dimensional accuracy.
* Complete required check sheets, inspection records, and production documentation.
* Maintain tooling inventories and ensure tools are available for production.
* Collaborate with Engineering on CNC programming and process improvements.
* Cross-train team members on CNC machine setup and operation.
* Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.##
Required Qualifications
* At least 2 years of CNC setup machining experience, or successful performance at a Level 3 CNC Operator level.
* Experience replacing tooling and performing tool pickups.
* Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
* CNC equipment troubleshooting experience.
* Ability to modify CNC programs.
* Completion of applicable Level 4 training and qualification requirements.##
Preferred Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* 3+ years of CNC setup machining experience, including both short and long production runs.
* Experience operating Mori Seiki, G&L, Haas, or Okuma machines.
* Lean Manufacturing training.##
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand for 8–12 hours per day.
* Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, and reach overhead with one or both arms.
* Ability to repetitively lift and place parts weighing up to 15 pounds.
* Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
* Ability to occasionally push or pull up to 75 pounds.
