Overview
Charge Nurse (RN) at Pro Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin. Job Type: PRN Days or Nights. Responsibilities- The Charge Nurse is a registered nurse who works in coordination with nursing leadership.
- Acts as the first line of support for staff, physicians and other related providers on clinical issues.
- Provides assessment, prioritization and direction of activities to meet the demanding needs of the hospital units.
- Directs, coaches and mentors nursing staff following the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer to foster professional practice and care delivery models.
- Implements unit-specific strategies and colleague-specific practice remediation to achieve clinical quality and patient safety outcomes.
- Collaborates with the Chief Nursing Officer on clinical development and serves as the clinical support for the department when the Chief Nursing Officer is unavailable, along with other Nursing leadership.

- Graduate of accredited registered nurse program with current licensure in the state, BSN preferred.
- Mandatory child and adult abuse certificate required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in rehabilitative or acute care setting and/or demonstrates leadership ability.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct activities of clinical personnel; effective oral and written communication skills, in English with additional languages preferred; proficiency in basic computer skills required.
- CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
- CRRN Preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
