Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse for our PM and Day Shifts to support our growing team in the Day Surgery unit. You’ll play a crucial role in providing care throughout the entire surgical process, from pre-op to post-anesthesia recovery, ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care.

Schedule:- 9-Hour Shifts
:
Work 4 days per week. - Shift Hours
: 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 11:00 AM - 8:30 PM. - Primarily PM Shifts
:
Please note that most shifts will be in the afternoon (PM), with the potential for more Day shifts to become available in the future. - Flexible Fridays

Only work every other Friday

Your Role as a Day Surgery RN
As part of our Surgical Services Team
, you will:
- Provide Comprehensive Patient Care
:
Assist in all perioperative phases—pre-op, intra-op, and recovery—ensuring patients are well-prepared, comfortable, and informed. - Administer & Monitor Treatment
:
Work closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe and effective perioperative care. - Ensure a Seamless Surgical Experience
:
Use your strong assessment and critical thinking skills to anticipate needs and respond to changes in the patient’s condition quickly. - Engage in Collaborative Care
:
Build meaningful connections with patients, families, and your healthcare team to enhance the overall surgical experience.

What You Will Do:The Clinical Nurse is a competent practitioner who integrates theoretical knowledge with clinical experience in the care of patients and families. Care is delivered using a deliberate, systematic approach and practice is guided by increasing awareness of patterns of patient responses in recurrent situations. These nurses demonstrate a mastery of most technical skills and begin to view clinical situations from a patient and family focus as they provide professional nursing care within clinical areas/ campuses as required by staffing matrices.
These nurses also supervise and direct delegated nursing acts commensurate with educational preparation and demonstrated abilities of the person supervised.
What You Will Need:
Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Wisconsin Registered Nurse License
Valid American Heart (AHA) Basic Life Support ( BLS) certification.
