We are offering a $1500 hiring bonus for this position!
Shift Details4/10 hour shifts each week, no weekends!
Responsibilities and Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of technical experience
- Technical skill set such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement and general nursing care experience is needed. A highly qualified applicant will have experience in anesthesia monitoring and recovery including EKG, SpO2, and Doppler equipment, performing sterile scrub, and assisting doctors throughout a variety of surgical procedures.
- Ability to lift and restrain patients up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Commitment to develop long‑term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
- Excellent communication and organizational skills – handle many aspects of client communication with regard to informational calls, client follow‑up, and general questions about their in‑hospital or at‑home pet’s status. Neurological disease can be difficult for clients to understand. Compassion, patience, professionalism, and kindness to all clients whether in person or on the phone, is a must.
