At Alloy Products Corp, we’re looking for an Inspector to join our Quality team who will perform inspections of the in-process, finished, and purchased parts for compliance with specifications, as well as support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to quality system enhancements.

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of products during the manufacturing processes. This includes performing in-process inspections, final inspections, testing, and audits to ensure that our products meet standards. This role involves working cross‑departmentally to resolve quality issues and maintain efficient production. This role works closely with Supervisors, Management, and outside organizations in adherence to compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections and testing to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications (e.g., dimensional checks, surface finish, material type).
- Identify and troubleshoot quality issues during the production process.
- Conduct audits of production processes to ensure adherence to standards and identify potential improvements.
- Use various quality measuring instruments and testing equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Record, analyze, and report inspection results and findings.
- Document quality control results and maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and manufacturing best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to improve product quality and reduce defects.
- Perform final inspections on finished products before they are shipped or delivered to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly calibrated and in good working order.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of quality control methods, techniques, and tools.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, ASME or other relevant quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently or under supervision and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Forklift operation experience preferred.
