We are seeking a Commercial Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations and financial administration of a commercial real estate portfolio. This role assists with tenant communications, vendor coordination, and basic lease compliance under the direction of senior management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional in written communication, and eager to grow within commercial property management. This is an in-person role based out of our office in Waukesha, WI.
Candidates must be able to work on-site.
- Review invoices for accuracy and proper expense coding
- Assist with the preparation of annual CAM budgets and estimates
- Support year-end CAM reconciliations and tenant billings
- Compile backup documentation for tenant CAM questions
- Track operating expenses and report discrepancies
- Maintain lease abstracts and critical dates
- Ensure billings align with lease terms
- Support the enforcement of basic lease provisions under supervision
- Maintain organized lease and financial records
- Coordinate routine inspections and maintenance requests
- Assist with vendor scheduling and service confirmations
- Review vendor invoices to ensure scope accuracy
- Track maintenance items and follow up on outstanding issues
- Respond to routine tenant inquiries
- Draft professional email responses
- Escalate disputes or sensitive issues as needed
- Assist with reporting and data entry
- Support senior property managers with special projects
- Other duties as assigned
- 1–3 years of experience in property management, real estate, accounting support, or a related field
- Basic understanding of commercial real estate operations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to travel locally as required for property inspections, meetings, and site visits
- Exposure to CAM charges or expense tracking
- Familiarity with Yardi and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working with vendors or tenants
